"Windsor Chair"
Windsor chair, 19th century, Liberty and Co. Model named after Oliver Goldsmith, an 18th century Irish writer who owned this model of chair. Beautiful design of the backrest with four sections of wood in the center equidistant on the same plane, two slightly offset to the sides. Framing the top of the backrest the four central bars, two bars converge obliquely on the back of the protruding seat. The armrests are wide, turned feet, bulge, comfortable hollow seat. Beautiful patina.
