"Kalamkari Dye India"
Kalamkari wall hanging from India, late 19th, early 20th century. Fine ecru cotton canvas printed in black and painted in red with purple highlights. In the center, a tree of life in a mirhab decoration, on the outer rim, scrolls and flowers. Reserves of architectural decorations and flower compositions, frieze of tigers and deer. It is in two sections in its width. Stains, a seam to be redone in the height and some small tears (2 cm) on the edges, see photos.
