"Vase Clock France First Quarter XIX Century"
Vase clock in gilded bronze resting on a plinth decorated with successive leaf motifs resting on four ball feet. The body, with its characteristic double-edged vase shape, is adorned with finely chiseled and gilded bronze applications: in the lower part a winged medusa face is flanked by anthemes, while in the upper part a panoply rests, on the neck there is a head with butterfly wings; the two sockets are held by two masks and end in a curl on the neck of the vase. White enamelled display with Roman numerals.
