Early 19th-century Italian Directoire-style Wardrobe In Lacquered And Painted Walnut
Directoire-style walnut cabinet, lacquered and painted. Front featuring a pair of glass-paned doors; the glass has been installed to replace the original panels. Interior shelves are height-adjustable. Panelled sides later embellished with paintings of male figures, featuring an amphora in the center, a face at the top, and a helmet at the bottom. Pyramid-shaped legs. Italy, early 19th century.
