Antique French Shell Nut Rattle With Bone Flute
A unique antique French rattle. Made from an openwork coquilla nut and decorated with flowers. Its bone handle is fluted inside. A magnificent piece of craftsmanship from the late 18th or early 19th century. The item is in very good condition. The rattle vibrates and the flute also works. A crack on the top of the rattle is discreet, but worth noting.
