DOUBLE-BARRELED FLINTLOCK SHOTGUN BY "DEVINEAU A PARIS" First Empire.
Short walnut stock with ample clearance for the barrels. Checkered grips and eagle's head butt end. Side-by-side double barrel. Barrel length 82.2 cm, barrel length with breech tang 88.2 cm. Flintlock locks, one signed "Devineau" and the other "Paris". Swan-neck hammers engraved with foliage. Trimmings cut and engraved in the shape of flowered basins. Wooden ramrod with flat-headed horn nail. In good overall condition. I note some oxidation spots on the barrel. Length 1.20 m.
