This series of "Oeuvres diverses de Monsieur Péllisson" from the French Academy in three volumes in 12, in contemporary binding, full grained calf, spine with raised bands decorated with gilt irons in fleurons in the boxes, titles and volume number in Havana morocco, edges lightly tinted and dotted; printed in Paris at Didot, Quai des Augustins, near the Pont Saint-Michel in M. DCC. XXXV. (1735). A diverse & varied and captivating text published in the youth of Louis XV. Beautiful framed portrait of the Author in frontispiece, engraved by JB Scotin, like the pretty banner of the important preface...
