Rare 18th century wrought iron castle fireplace hearth holder dated 1738.
Large kitchen hearth holder. The decoration highlights a superb FLEUR-DE-LYS. The twist of the outer arms is two-way. The petals of the florets are all stamped with hearts. Possible order from a family, close to royalty. Good condition. I note an old restoration, probably from the 18th century photo N° 6 and 7.
Museum quality (Le Secq des Tournelles).
