Large shaped tray in dark lacquer, entirely hand-painted with fine golden and polychrome brushstrokes creating a chiselled-like effect. The central scene depicts figures in traditional costumes within a garden with pavilions and architecture, executed with great precision and attention to detail.
The wide border is enriched with floral and geometric motifs, painted with the same meticulous technique. The varied use of gilding, ranging from matte to brighter gold tones, enhances the overall decorative appeal.
