""arab Horseman Returning From The Hunt", Alfred Barye And Emile Guillemin"
Alfred Barye (1839-1895) He trained and worked in his father's workshop and foundry. His work includes animal bronzes as well as orientalist and comic subjects. Alfred Barye's works show a very high degree of detail, execution and finish, equal to the works of his father. Alfred Barye created the ''Arab rider on horseback'' with the collaboration of Emile Coriolan Guillemin. Emile Guillemin (1841-1907) A great French sculptor, he was also a student of his father, Auguste Marie Guillemin. He is known for pushing realism to the extreme, served, in his bronzes in particular, by a remarkable quality of chiseling. This work was produced jointly by the two sculptors Alfred Barye and Emile Guillemin. Group in polychrome spelter resting on a terrace in white onyx and black marble.
