Raymond Charlot is a Belgian artist active at the beginning of the 20th century, he was born in 1879 and the date of his death is unknown. His paintings mainly represent women and in particular ballerinas. This painting represents a smiling dancer in a tutu consulting a ticket and surrounded by flowers. A colorful, luminous and poetic work. The painting alone measures 60cm wide and 50cm high and is signed lower right. The frame is in black and gold painted wood.
