stamped Bréguet à PARIS it's Breguet is a luxury watch brand founded by Neuchâtel native Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris in 1775.
It has historically been a symbol of prestige and innovation due to its famous clients, including those at the courts of Europe, and its founder's many watchmaking inventions.
Abraham-Louis Breguet is credited with the prestigious "Queen of Naples" and the invention, among many others, of the tourbillon.
The company was acquired in 1870 by the Brown family, who managed it for one hundred years
