Object description :

"Covered Stock Pot "
We present this ceramic broth pot with lid, glazed and enameled earthenware from the factory in Roanne (42) PERRON AUGOYARD who worked from 1886 to 1905. Then the PICARD family (ceramicists in Givors), moved to Roanne in 1905 to take over the AUGOYARD and PERRON pottery located on Quai du Bassin. They had a daughter born in 1890 who grew up within this family, she entered the Beaux de Arts in 1911, her name was Adrienne and she worked within the family and she left the structure to join Paris where she joined the Sacred Art workshop of Maurice DENIS. But her origins brought her back to ceramics and after doing an internship at the Sèvres factory where she acquired new techniques, she returned to Ronne with the desire to create an artistic ceramics workshop at the family factory which had been relocated to Coteau in 1915, under the name of the stoneware factory.
