"Large Poppy Vase, Montjoye - 20th Century"
Elegance, prettiness and subtle hues rhyme with this Montjoye vase, (Cristallerie de Pantin, late 19th - early 20th century), slightly ribbed blown glass, with an emerald green tint, enameled decoration of poppies (white and pink flowers with black and purple heart), accompanied by green buds and foliage with gold highlights. The upper edge is contoured and scalloped with gilding. This "poppy" vase was a specialty of Montjoye and belongs to the Art Nouveau movement - 20th century, curca 1910
