"Duponchel & Revil: Orientalist / Ottoman Style Coffee Pot In Sterling Silver"

In 1862 he supplied Napoleon III, among other things, with a sports trophy which is now in the National Museum of the Second Empire in Compiègne. Ottoman-shaped coffee pot with geometric decoration in the Orientalist style, partly on an amati background, and on the side with a mavelot in the sense of a medallion. Swan-neck spout ending in an incised opening, the lid presenting a top as a fretel Ottoman. Minerva Hallmarks 1st Title (.950), Signature in full "DUPONCHEL à Paris" and Hallmarks of Master Goldsmith Constant REVIL (Hallmark with the initials "CR" and a table stove) received in 1858 with whom Duponchel co-signed most of his pieces.
