"Beautiful Silk From Lyon, “the Fire Of Love”, Early 19th Century. France."

Beautiful silk, embroidered or woven, representing a young woman in the antique style, giving her hand to a centurion, above a tripod from which small flames escape, symbol of love. Two doves kiss at their feet. The figures are in very good condition. The doves too. Very small losses to the evening of the beige/pale green background. Frame from the 60s painted in faux marble, from the 80s. The whole in good condition and very decorative. Late 18th or early 19th century.
