Beautiful antique Chinese porcelain dish, hand-decorated in polychrome famille rose enamels. The center and rim are adorned with lush flowers, chrysanthemums and peonies, enhanced with red ribbons and green foliage. An iron-red floral frieze elegantly highlights the scrolled border. This dish is a Qianlong period piece (1736–1795), typical of Chinese porcelain exported to Europe via the East India Company. It comes from a private collection that we are gradually putting up for sale, bringing together antique Chinese and Japanese porcelain.
