"Republican Guard Helmet Model 1876"
Helmet of the Republican Guard on horseback of the Third Republic, model 1876, in nickel-plated steel, stamped in one piece, decorated with a leather chinstrap covered with brass scales and stamped with the arms of the city of Paris (3-masted boat model). Crest with a Medusa head. Also present the red plume and a black horsehair mane of approximately 70 cm. The inner headdress is in leather in used condition, still complete with its lace connecting all the different parts. Information and other photos on request.
