Designed in the early 1940s to furnish the Aarhus Town Hall in Denmark—a project led by renowned architects Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller, who commissioned Hans J. Made from solid oak, the chairs have been reupholstered in cognac leather, faithful to the original upholstery, and the frames cleaned and waxed to revive their luster while preserving the patina.
