Oil on canvas representing a still life by DENIS BERGERET Pierre Denis Bergeret, born January 19, 1844 in Villeparisis (Seine-et-Marne) 1 and died February 19, 1910 in Paris, is a French painter, author of still lifes – mainly crustaceans – and kitchen scenes. He was a student of Eugène Isabey and exhibited in Paris between 1870 and 1908, mainly still lifes. In 1900, he was made a knight of the Legion of Honor. Frame dimensions 54cm x 40cm.
