The top part with an allegorical subject, two cherubs studying the arts framing a fire pot.
The enameled dial without mark, two hands of a different model
Under the dial gilt bronze decoration of a basket of fruit and garlands of flowers
On the back of the movement stamp "Hors Concours LP Japy & Cie 1878"
Strikes the hours and half-hours. Ht. 42cm width 27cm
(rare small oxidations to the gilding)
Last quarter of the 19th century, Louis XVI style
(Good working condition, mechanism to be cleaned if necessary. Small chip without impact on the glass protecting the dial)
