"Dressing Table In Elm Burl Veneer, Empire Period – Early 19th Century"
Splendid dressing table in elm burl veneer decorated with gilt bronze fittings. It embodies the elegance and refinement of the Empire period. Its psyche is distinguished by a round mirror framed by a delicate baguette chiseled with a geometric frieze, mounted on two Empire-style columns. The latter are decorated with bronze rings at the top and bottom, and surmounted by a beautiful Greek urn. The top of this dressing table is made of a relief elm burl veneer surrounding an oval white Carrara marble top. This piece of furniture opens at the waist with a large drawer, decorated with a functional lock accompanied by its ornate key. The whole rests on two imposing Empire columns, also decorated with bronze rings and collars. The lower part reveals a concave base, while the rear uprights retain their straight line, ensuring harmony and balance to this exceptional piece.********Period: Early 19th centuryExcellent condition after restoration in our workshops.Waxed finish.Delivery possible in France and internationally.Dimensions:Width: 78 cmDepth: 45 cmHeight: 141 cmReference: 287V
