Oil on canvas 19th century, representing a still life with grapes, plums, carafe and cup of coffee. Beautiful quality and light, painting signed lower right "Huber". Léon Charles Huber (1858-1928) is a French painter specialized in the representations of still lifes often with cats. He did his apprenticeship at the school of fine arts notably alongside J. Grun. He began at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1887. Good general condition, some repainting and wear, relining to be noted. Gilded Montparnasse frame. Dimensions without frame: 55 / 43 cm
