A striking hand-blown art glass vase from the Studio Cristal line of Val Saint Lambert, Belgium’s premier crystal manufacturer since 1826. Produced during the modernist period of the late 20th century (circa 1975–1985), this piece showcases the studio’s bold, contemporary design direction, moving beyond traditional cut crystal toward more artistic, freeform creations.
Crafted in deep, glossy black glass, the vase features dramatic internal splashes and streaks of yellow, red, white, and blue. These vibrant inclusions are suspended within the glass, giving the piece depth, movement, and a dynamic “cosmic” effect from every angle. Its rounded ovoid form with a gently narrowed opening lends elegance and a strong visual presence.
The base bears the hand-engraved “Studio Cristal” signature, confirming its authenticity as a Val Saint Lambert Studio creation.
