Painted on beautiful mahogany panels with parquet flooring.
The painter is known and sought after, the paintings of Charles Baptiste Schreiber* are occasionally auctioned in France and abroad, such as at Sotheby's and Christie's for example.
Our paintings date from 1892, a time when the painter must have been at the top of his art, indeed everything is perfect, the glaze, the look, the details and the atmosphere are perfectly realized.
The panels measure 21.5cm x 27cm. These paintings need a new varnish, it costs €200 and would be carried out by a professional restorer in Brittany.
The frames are attached to the paintings, they are not original.
