Large queen's head in cracked ceramic in the Art Deco style, which is greatly inspired by the Queen's head in bronze by Gustave Miklos from 1929 and cast by Valsuani which belonged to the Claude and Simone Dray collection, which was sold for more than €300,000 at Christie's on June 8, 2006.
Our figure must date from the period 1940-1950, it has a beautiful provenance, it was offered to the last owner in 1979 by one of the greatest antique dealers specializing in the Art Deco period, having a gallery at the Louvre des Antiquaires, he died in 1984. To be restored, in fact a crack on the back is more important than the others, it is a fel, on the side a small lack of one millimeter.
