Beautiful set of 4 paper advertisements/advertisings dating from the 1930s for the Feng Tian Tai Yang Company for its White Horse and Foot Ball cigarettes.
The scenes depicted are by the painter Zhou Baisheng (1887-1955), who designed illustrations for advertising posters for a number of different companies, including BM & Co Fertilizer Co, Peking Five Star Beer Company and Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company. These advertisements are original offset prints probably printed in Shanghai in the 1930s.
