Important clock in mercury-gilt and patinated bronze, with an imposing base structure, decorated with a full-length statue of Napoleon Bonaparte with his arms crossed and scanning the horizon, and flanked by a large banner. The clock has a finely guilloché and gilt bronze dial surrounded by a white enamel band on which the hours are inscribed in Roman numerals.
