Bronze Pendulum Return From Egypt 1st Empire

Rare portico clock in gilded bronze from the 1st Empire period. Its lower part is composed of six columns with busts of Egyptian women and in its middle the imperial eagle with outstretched wings. Its upper part is composed of a white enamel dial accompanied by a finely gilded hand and surrounded by an outline of openwork patterns, all placed on the back of two cherubs and at the top two winged swans. The whole rests on an oval base with a flat surface with a wide outline which has delicate chiseling work.
