Musical folk art and hunting.
Here is a para-musical instrument made of wood and bone whose use has sometimes been the same as that of the rattle but which can also be used during hunting in order to drive back the game, hence its names of rattle of the branches, beater's swatter, Tarabasteù, toque-maillet, tapette etc... this
object in itself is not very common.
There are one hammer and two hammers relatively sober in manufacture, it is rare to find them with four hammers, worked and violined.
This one is in good condition, just missing one of the two bone crosses.
