"Pair Bronze Wall Sconces Candlestick With Dragon Or Chimera Napoleon III Ref 553"

Pair of wall sconces in the shape of a chimera or winged dragon from the Napoleon III period.
They are made of bronze with a natural golden patina with the possibility of electrifying them or not, the sockets are easy to remove from the bobèches. Fixing holes are present on each leg and the tail to fix them to the wall (originally they were possibly wall lights fixed on a piece of furniture or wooden support).
Period: 19th century around 1860 1880.
