Blown Glass Lace Ball - 19th Century
Blown glass lacemaker's magnifying glass lamp - 19th century. The ball was filled with water and placed in front of a candle. The aim was to amplify the brightness. The worker worked opposite the candle. Good condition. Note a tiny chip on the neck. Height: 28.5cm; diameter 18cm
