Marcel Debut (1883 - 1933) - French sculptor, associated with the Art Nouveau movement, specializing in sculptures of historical figures - musicians and ancient warriors. He also created works referring to mythology, country life and representing animals. He notably studied under his father, the famous sculptor Jean Didier Debut. The artist regularly exhibited at the Salon from 1883 until the beginning of the First World War. Education: Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
