Pair of large, richly carved, gilded and red lacquered wooden standards. A religious and decorative object in Vietnamese temples and pagodas.
Different decor for each side.
Brought back from Indochina in the early 20th century.
19th century Vietnamese work.
Fairly good condition: some chips and small losses, wear and patina to the gilding and lacquer.
Remain very presentable in this condition.
