Rare Spanish-moorish Terracotta Holy Water Stoup - 18th Century
A rare 18th-century Hispano-Moorish terracotta holy water stoup. Inside the niche, the figure of the Madonna is depicted in the center, standing on a sort of pedestal and surrounded by decorative elements reminiscent of rays. On the upper sides are angels who appear to dance and interact with the central figure. Around these figures, we can see stylized architectural elements such as columns and floral and geometric decorations.
