The interior is lined with red paper decorated with gold with small irons on the edge, lined with a red leather cushion under the lid. It contains six numbered crystal decanters decorated with gadroons adorned with hollow pastilles and twelve liqueur glasses with the same decoration. The fine quality crystal may come from the Creusot or Baccarat factory.
The twelve glasses are arranged on a wooden support lined with red paper which fits between the decanters.
