"Art Deco Tank Ring With Fine Ruby And Old Cut Diamonds In Rose Gold And Platinum"
Ring in 750/°° rose gold (18 KT, owl hallmark) and platinum (mascaron head hallmark) with a beautiful volume typical of Tank rings from the 1940s. Its tray shape gives it the general shape of a signet ring. Very architectural, it has a dome structure in its center, with two arches paved with old-cut diamonds on either side of three rectilinear sides with an Art Deco aesthetic. In the center of these, a beautiful natural round ruby is set in a square structure that accentuates the very structured and architectural character of the whole. The other two trapezoidal platinum sides are set with diamonds. The natural ruby offers a deep red color and a beautiful crystallization that gives it liveliness. The base of the tray is curved and creates a mirror effect. Its movement counterbalances the central pyramidal dome effect. This ring therefore offers the very balanced and architectural design that we appreciate in Tank rings, here particularly complete and worked. Its natural ruby makes it a rare and precious jewel by its quality.Weight of the central ruby estimated at 0.70 caratTotal weight of the diamonds estimated at approximately 0.50 caratGross weight: 12.22 gFinger size: 57 and a half - possible resizing to be assessed by our workshop (current diameter 1.83 cm / US size between 8 and 8.5)Condition: slight micro-scratches on the body of the ring (which can be repolished by our workshop during resizing or on simple request), characteristic natural inclusions in the ruby, natural inclusions in the diamonds not visible to the naked eyePossibility of payment entirely remotely via the site.
