Lovely bronze subject with brown patina representing a young peasant at rest leaning on a stump holding his scythe in one hand. It rests on its beautiful original base in veined gray marble. The subject is very finely chiseled and detailed, a beautiful presence, as you see in the photos and yet without apparent signature… Period End of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century. Dimensions: Height with the base: 20.5 cm and 18 cm without Base diameter: 9.5 cm Total weight: 1.5 Kg Very good condition with its beautiful patina of time.
