A "Greek-style" chest of drawers, Transition period, circa 1770. Made of satinwood and mahogany veneer, this chest of drawers features five drawers in three rows, two of which are without crosspieces. Rounded uprights, arched feet. Original molded Aleppo breccia marble top. Ormolu ornamentation: fluted and asparagus corner pieces, garlands, lion claw sabots. Original bronzes, lock, and key. French polish oak frame. Very good condition.
