A fine congregational work in multicolored paperolles shaping eight heart-shaped niches or medallions housing as many holy relics. In the center a painted medallion presents Christ on the Cross with the instruments of the Passion.
Significant ex-ossibus relics of Christians of the first centuries, all Martyrs, are present, namely a rare relic of Saint Irenaeus, a relic of Saint Anae and Saints Donatus, Deodatus, Faustinus, Saint Pius, Angelus and Candide.
Dimensions with the frame of 33 cm by 28.
Good condition but the gilded wooden frame has several losses.
