Very beautiful 19th century painting depicting a scene of fishermen in a mountain torrent by François Émile Ehrmann. Excellent quality giltwood frame in very good original condition, 80 by 93 cm. This engaging painter with a varied work was a pupil of Charles Gleyre and a friend of Théodore Deck. He exhibited at the Salon of 1869, he is present at the museums of Strasbourg Mulhouse and Le Havre. Here we are in the presence of a beautiful animated scene with a bright central part giving the work a beautiful perspective with very beautiful work on magnificent blues.
