We are in the presence of a very rare painting with an astonishing subject with a large group of characters preparing their weapons with their period costumes. Note the blue white red tricolor scarves, cocked hats evoking the armies of the end of the 18th century. Very beautiful pictorial effect, in particular by the multiplicity of details and the expression of the characters.
