Serge Belloni (1925-2005) - Paris Its Quays and the Tree on the Seine, Oil on Canvas, circa 1980

Description:

Serge Belloni, nicknamed "The Painter of Paris," dedicated his artistic life to capturing the timeless essence of Paris and Venice. Every day, in all weather, he immortalized the changing faces of the City of Light and the City of Doges.

This beautiful painting transports us to Paris, with its melancholic view of the Quays featuring a tree seemingly planted on the Seine, with La Coupole and Île Saint-Louis in the background. He spent the rest of the year in Venice, capturing its unique light.
