Majestic Louis XVI period tripod coffee pot in solid silver in perfect condition. It bears on its base the four traditional hallmarks: the tower and initials AE for the city of Mons, 88 for the vintage 1788 and a crowned shield for a listed but hitherto unidentified master goldsmith who worked in Mons in the last quarter of the eighteenth century.
