Aubusson factory: Large and beautiful short wool carpet on cotton foundations, tapestry technique and needlework with a central floral medallion decoration on an almond green field enhanced with cream scrolls. The wide polychrome floral border forming a frame with raspberry outer bands. This carpet is healthy and in good general condition. It has a single repair on the outer band of approximately 12cm. The colors are well preserved, few stains. Work from the Napoleon III period around 1850. Please note that an old weave always presents imperfections due to its technique or its age. Dimensions 4m35X3m.
