"Pair Of Chinese Porcelain Baluster Vases – Famille Rose – Qianlong Mark, 20th Century"
An elegant pair of polychrome-glazed porcelain vases in the famille rose (fencai) style, typical of the Qing tradition. Each vase features a finely detailed decoration of flowering branches of peonies, emblems of wealth and nobility, accompanied by long-tailed red birds, symbolizing beauty and longevity. The turquoise ground, finely decorated with floral scrolls and stylized motifs, frames white cloud-shaped reserves (or cartouches). The base of each piece bears an apocryphal six-character red stamp in zhuanshu (seal script), indicating a Qianlong mark, although these vases are likely early- to mid-20th-century Republican or slightly later replicas.
