Ancestor head called "Tau-Tau" of the Toraja people of the Celebes Islands (Sulawesi) in Indonesia. Late 19th / early 20th century. The work has retained its load of brown pigments mixed with white halos, the original color. The absence of eyes reinforces the expression of gravity and interiority.
