Charming pastel portrait from the Louis XVI period, representing a young woman with bare breasts. A fresh representation of this elegant hairstyle in the fashion of the 1770s. Very good condition for this work which has been reframed in a beautiful 19th century molding decorated with friezes of bay leaves and water leaves (some chips), under old blown glass.
