Louis XVI Period Cylinder Bookcase Desk
Mahogany bookcase desk, Louis XVI period. This piece of furniture is unusual, the lower part is composed of a cylinder desk and the upper part, a bookcase with three shelves. This piece of furniture is of beautiful design, the back parts as well as the drawer interiors are made of solid oak. The work surface is of good size and installed on sliding, it measures 58 cm by 118 cm wide. This top is covered in leather with some gilded highlights. The door and drawer entries are in bronze. The legs are turned, tapered and fluted and end with a bronze ring. The corners in the upper part are also protruding and fluted. High quality furniture, the sliding works perfectly.
