Bronze sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddha, depicting him in a seated position in dhyanasana, his right hand resting on his knees and holding a bowl, his left hand stretched forward, fingers pointing downwards, touching the ground. The figure is partially covered with gilding and silvering.
